To design a memorial for Bajirao Peshwa. The site lies near the Sangam on the Mula Mutha river. The main objective was to enlighten people about Bajirao's bravery and courage unknown to the large public and also to make it a city hotspot and of historical significance.

Who was Bajirao Peshwa?

Peshwa Bajirao was born in 1700 and died in 1740. Most people know Bajirao only in context of bajirao Mastani. Not many know the the military genius of the invincible Peshwa."The first Maratha to Attack The Mughal Delhi Sultanate "It has become fashionable to bash the Peshwa's family and brand themes villains, especially his mother Radhabai, his brother Chimaji, his son Balaji aka Nana and his wife Kashi. There are many claims that these people got together and ill-treated Mastani, much to the Peshwa's chagrin. This Memorial is to enlighten the people about Fearless Warrior Bajirao.
